Owing to the rain, we had an extra long breakfast here at Gayana Eco Resort. Paul selected a sea bass hash with poached egg from the a la carte menu today, while I decided that I had best sample the savory pancakes.
Here is some of what was on offer on the buffet, which is one of the best presented buffets I have seen I might add.
As I wasn’t up for snorkeling in the rain today, I decided to find out about pinterest and sign up. I can see that my sisters prediction of me becoming addicted may come to fruition – but not until I am back at home with a decent internet connection. While I was busy pinning and re-pinning, my husband was busy catching up on B-grade movies. Who would know that we are actually honeymooners?!
In the end, the rain did clear. So off we ventured into the jungle for a look around. It didn’t take too long for us to turn around and come back again – mosquitoes hoards tend to have that effect on the both of us!
We saw the afternoon out on a kayak and now it is happy hour – time to finish watching the sun go down and then to go and choose some seafood for dinner. Bliss!
Pity about the rain today…. Yes, I see you have now joined Pinterest! It’s a lot of fun, I think you’ll enjoy it – can be rather addictive!
You’re right about the buffet – it looks great! I see they have rambutan – have you eaten them?
Jealous you are kayaking so much – I love kayaking yet it has been so long since I’ve had opportunity to! Hopefully I’ll take the kayak out this Summer and maybe you can join me out on the river!
Honeymooners? Pfft! You should be making a cousin for Jack and Sophie, not pinteresting you dork.
