Knowing that all good things must come to an end, I was still dragging my thong-clad feet yesterday when we had to leave Gayana Eco Resort – our ‘home’ for the past 5 days. We managed to have another blissful day before our departure however, starting with breakfast:
We took in the amazing sights, including the wildlife around our villa – fish, monitor lizards, birds and very cheeky monkeys (that are quickly shooed away by the Gayana staff).
More snorkeling and then time for lunch by the pool.
After lunch we lazed about the pool until it was time for our speedboat departure. We hopped in and out for cocktails, snacks and sunshine.
An enjoyable view for more reasons than one 😉
