I am sitting here writing a post-dinner blog to allow my dinner to settle. When Paul suggested the buffet for dinner here at the Magellan Sutera Resort, I thought he was crazy. He persisted after my initial ‘no’ response and urged me to at least look at it. When I spotted an assortment of seafood, I was sold.
A mere selection of what was on offer….
Chefs preparing fresh tempura prawns and clay pot dishes. There was also another chef station for tepanyaki.
Too many choices for Paul, he did not know where to start! Didn’t take him too long to dive in though.
Desserts…
Some of our courses….
I think the longest walk possible back to our room is now in order. There will be no poolside bikini shots of this little piggy tomorrow!
Looks slightly better than all those Friday nights at the golf club in our childhood. Slightly….
All I can remember of those childhood dinners is spilling my glass of raspberry soft drink and wanting to disappear under the table in embarrassment. My memories must be repressed!
What a scrumptious selection! I’m shameless in embracing my own buffet love, lol!
Yes, I am now quite a fan of buffets – we did it all over again this morning and now, once again, I am sitting and blogging to distract meyself from the feeling of being completely full!
Hi Kirsten, great shots, but does your husband mind you using that professional male model in your snaps. Also, it must cost you a fortune to have him on standby as he would surely not come cheap
Ah, what a funny husband I have! Not your best cover ‘Paula’ 😉
